One of the main purposes of PTA is to support the amazing teachers and staff at River Eves! The hospitality committee plans several lunches and events throughout the year, as well as the week long Staff Appreciation Week that takes place in March. PTA also funds mini-grants that teachers/staff can apply for each fall semester. 

Looking to thank your child's teacher? We have compiled a list of each staff member's favorite things for you to reference throughout the year!

The PTA also ensures each teacher is supported by a pair of Room Parents to help with class needs and organize the December Holiday Party as well as the refreshments for the End of Year class awards. Room Parents also help celebrate the teacher's birthday! 

*Interested in volunteering as a Room Parent? Check with your student's teacher during Open House for the Room Parent interest sheet. Please note this is not a time extensive responsibility, but you will be asked to communicate in a timely manner and organize events at specific times during the school year (December/May).
