What is the River Eves PTA?
The River Eves Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is an organization made up of members of the River Eves community - parents, grandparents, guardians, teachers, staff, and business partners who all have a vested interest in bettering the educational experience of our kids.
The goal of the River Eves PTA is to support and advocate for our children by partnering with staff, families, and the wider community to create a safe and inclusive learning community where all students thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
What does the PTA do for River Eves?
- Supports REES community by providing Family First events and monthly Spirit Nights.
- Supports REES staff by providing grants to the teachers + staff to purchase supplies that will enrich their teaching. In addition, the PTA provides monthly hospitality events for the staff to show our appreciation for their hard work and dedication to our children.
- Supports REES facility by raising funds to improve the environment creating a better education experience for children.
- Supports REES students with programs to expose them to the arts and exercise as well as hosting events to bring the community together, encouraging families to connect and spend time together making memories!
